Through painting and felted sculpture, Barbara Attwell takes people on a journey through a mythological landscape brimming with rich, wild imagery, and archetypal energy. Attwell was educated in foundry work and now uses wool and her rich knowledge of nature to inform her art – creating animal guides and protective bindings that point to a time when ancient practices kept us one with all things wild.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through February 4, 2017.
