For all the Pearlanders who don't want to fight the crowds or drive into the city for a concert and fireworks display — this is for you. Pearland High School's football stadium, The Rig, is the site for a concert featuring Zona Jones and 20 minutes of fireworks. The Independence Day celebration begins with a military salute and national anthem sung by the winner of Pearland Parks and Recreation's "Let Freedom Sing" talent search.
