The Joy School hosts noted international speaker and award-winning author Robert Brooks in "To Enrich the Lives of Children: The Role of the Charismatic Adult." Brooks is a leading speaker on the themes of resilience, motivation and family relationships. During the past 30 years, he has presented nationally and internationally to thousands of parents, educators, mental health professionals and business people with a message based on encouragement, hope and resilience.

Proceeds from this luncheon support the Student Financial Aid Fund, which provides opportunities for children to attend The Joy School, a center that educates children with learning differences in grades K-8.
