Jonathan Hopson Gallery presents Bradley Kerl: "Bite the Hand" opening day

In one of the most immersive solo exhibitions to date, "Bite the Hand" is an intimate approach towards a traditional painting exhibit. Entering the gallery, visitors will be greeted with a replication of Bradley Kerl's studio, complete with paint palettes and personal ephemera.

The painter's studio then gives way to a minimal white cube curation of large canvases. Moving through this exhibition reveals a new perspective of Kerl's practice as guests enter an Oz-like space full of the enchanted items that makeup each completed painting. Gently pulling back the curtain of the painter's studio unveils satisfaction and wonder for Kerl's painterly process.

Following the opening day, the exhibit will be on display through August 1.
