The John Cooper School chapter of the National Art Honor Society and Cooper Art Society have taken the lead to help fight hunger in the community through its annual Empty Bowls event. All members of the community who attend this event will have a bowl of soup, bid in a silent auction, view student art and take home a handmade bowl as a reminder that there are empty bowls in the community that must be filled.
