The 38th Annual Jewish Book & Arts Fair at the Jewish Cultural Center offers an packed two-week schedule of  authors, filmmakers, and comedians. Author Rachel Shukert, author of Everything is Going to be Great: An Underfunded, Overexposed European Grand Tour, speaks about her book. The recent New York University graduate went to Europe for an acting job and ended up alone because of a customs fluke in Austria. Alone and with little cash, she traveled through Europe in an effort to see what she’s made of and challenged herself in the real world.  Shukert, also the author of Have You No Shame?, the critically acclaimed essay collection about growing up Jewish in Nebraska, is a performer and playwright whose writing has appeared on NPR and in numerous publications including Gawker, Heeb and The Daily Beast.
