Mindy Lam's ethereal designs take their cue from nature. Her worktable, laden with natural and semiprecious stones and millions of Swarovski crystals, is filled with colors that far exceed any rainbow: Indigo, amethyst, topaz, aquamarine, citrine, tourmaline, quartz. Lam's sensitivity to nature, and her floral inspiration, come from growing up in China, a land of roses, peonies, orchids and camellias. 

A native of Hong Kong, Lam immigrated to the United States in the 1990s and lives near Washington D.C. Like the limitless boundaries found in nature, Lam sees infinite possibilities for creating unique jewelry designs that promise to be timeless classics.
