Council Member Jerry Davis hosts the second annual oktoBrew festival in the historic Fifth Ward. With 100 percent of the event proceeds benefitting after-school programming in northeast Houston, this festival features live music performances from local acts Joe Carmouche, Adrenaline, DJ Monstaa, and Emcee Chicken Mike.
Guests can enter a raffle for the chance to win travel packages from United Airlines, Houston sports memorabilia and restaurant gift cards. Turkey legs, kabobs and locally brewed beer from Anheuser-Busch, Saint Arnold and Spindletap breweries will be available for purchase. Guests can screen-print their own tote or t-shirt at TXRX’s vendor booth and experience some of the same hands-on activities that will be offered to local students in after-school programs. RSVP is not required to attend this event.
