Jazzman Jason Moran takes the stage at Discovery Green for a free solo concert. A graduate of Houston's High School for Performing and Visual Arts, Moran was recently awarded a prestigious MacArthur Foundation grant that goes to innovative thinkers and artists in the fields of science, medicine, education and the arts. Students from Moran's alma mater will open the show with jazz musical and video performances.
