Jan Golden Studio & Gallery will present "Purposeful," an exhibition of new work by gallery artist Jan Golden. Golden is a Houston-based visual artist who chronicles the world around her through abstract photography and various mixed-media techniques, including encaustic and collage.

In her collection, Golden explores detailed textures, upcycled materials, and vivid color palettes combined in abstract, mosaic-like encaustic assemblages. Golden’s artwork has been exhibited throughout the South and held in numerous private and corporate collections both local and internationally. She communicates openly about her work and processes and encourages conversation with all guests to her studio/gallery.

The artist will be in attendance at the opening reception.
