Jamaica Foundation of Houston's Ja-Ga Festival 2014

Jamaica Foundation of Houston

Presented by the Jamaica Foundation of Houston, the Ja-Ga Reggae Festival celebrates the culture, history, music, fun, tastes and the sights and sounds of Jamaica. The event transforms a stretch of Galveston's Seawall Boulevard into a little bit of Jamaica. Spend the day soaking up good vibes while feasting on traditional island fare, which includes a jerk cook-off contest and live performances by local and global reggae acts such as Ernie Smith, Etana, Anthony Cruz, Alaine, Etana and Errol Lee and the Bare Essentials Band.
