A throwback from the 1970s, Viva the ‘Namis a violent, quirky, stop-animation feature you’ll probably only get one chance to see. 14 Pews presents a film that took Paul Hanley and Kieran Healy (two University of Texas student filmmakers) eight years to make.
This marks the opening weekend for 14 Pews, the film house run by Cressandra Thibodeaux in the original Aurora Picture Show home. Thibodeaux is looking to expand Houston's film options and is already planning her next moving showing on Oct 14-16.
