The Italian Cultural & Community Center will host a wine sampling as part of its wine-tasting series Come Wine with Us, which debuted earlier this year. It will offer wines from the Italian region of Veneto produced at the Tommasi Family Estate in Pedemonte, a small village in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico zone in Verona, and these will be paired with Chef Monica Fallone’s creations from Borgo Food Station, a unique European style grab and go market located in the River Oaks area.
Guests will have the opportunity to attend a lecture and presentation by Pierangelo Tommasi, Tommasi Family Estates’ export director, and have a tasting experience through the exploration of the cultural, environmental, historical and social context of these regional wines.
