Italian Cultural & Community Center presents Summer Italian Film Festival

The Italian Cultural & Community Center will host the Summer Italian Film Festival, where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Italian language through four dramatic, comedic, and romantic masterpieces. All the showings will be in Italian with English subtitles.

The Organizer, directed by Mario Monicelli, was nominated for an Academy Award in 1965 for Best Screenplay and received awards for Best Film at the Avellino Neorealism Film Festival and 3rd Place in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the New York Film Critics Circle awards.

Pane, amore e fantasia (Bread, Love and Dreams), directed by Luigi Comencini, received nominations for Best Writing and Story at the 1955 Academy Awards in addition to Best Film and Best Foreign Actress at the BAFTA Awards.
