The Christmas in July 5K + Kids K is a run to help spread Christmas cheer all year round. The beautiful course starts in Downtown Houston at the Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command and finishes with a spirited post race party. The event will include fun music, great sweets, and some good ole' holiday spirit.
Awards will be presented to the top three winners (male and female) in 10 year age group. Team Spirit Awards and Awards to Top Fundraisers in both Individual and Team Categories.
This 5K and Kids K Run that will benefit the Salvation Army directly. Proceeds will go to Salvation Army's programs that enrich the lives of the people of Houston through the six Corps/Community Centers, six residential complexes, two social services offices, and college preparation program.
