The Iranian Film Festival at Rice University Feb. 5 and 6 is screening Shirin, a study of 113 actresses' faces as they are filmed watching a movie about a rivalry for the affections of an Armenian princess. Actresses featured in the film include Mahnaz Afshar, Juliette Binoche, Golshifteh Farahani and Niki Karimi.

All films sponsored by the department will be screened in the Rice Media Center building's Film Auditorium. The Rice Media Center building is located at Entrance 8 on the Rice Campus at Stockton and University. Cinema patrons may park in the Greenbriar lot or in the stadium lots between Shepherd School of Music and Rice Stadium.
