A Man Who Ate His Cherries will be screened Feb. 6 as part of Rice University's Iranian Film Festival.
The film chronicles a man's scheme to come up with the money to repay his wife's dowry when she seeks a divorce, filmed mostly in a gritty black and white by debut director Payman Haghani.
