The International Women's Day 2018 Conference by the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest will include welcome remarks from Consul General of Israel to the Southwest, Gilad Katz, and will feature four influential women from Houston, representing the fields of public service, community advocacy, public sector, and arts & culture.

Featured speakers will be The Honorable Amanda Edwards, a Houston City Council Member; Shoshi Kaganovsky, founder and CEO of Sensoleak; Metra Mehran, a young social entrepreneur with a particular interest in women’s empowerment and education; and Jennifer Decker, the Artistic Director and co-founder of Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company.
