Author Tracy Kidder will be coming to the Alley Theatre March 22 as part of the Margarett Root Brown Reading Series.
A master of the non-fiction narrative, Kidder won the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize for his book Soul of a New Machine.
His newest book, Strength in What Remains, follows the story of Deogratias, a refugee from the civil war and genocide of 1990s Burundi, who makes his way to New York City.
The reading is presented in conjunction with Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston, Holocaust Museum Houston, and PAIR.
