Inprint presents readings by Oscar Casares and Gwendolyn Zepeda

In the latest installment of the Inprint Margaret Brown Root Reading Series, Texas writers Oscar Casares and Gwendolyn Zepeda will read from their works, followed by an on-stage interview conducted by Marina Tristan, assistant director of Arte Público Press at the University of Houston.
Raised in Brownsville, Casares set his collection of short stories, Brownsville: Stories, and his first novel, Amigoland, in the south Texas city. Casares, the recipient of a 2006 National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, teaches creative writing at the University of Texas in Austin.
Native Houstonian Zepeda, is the author of To the Last Man I Slept With and All the Jerks Just Like Him, and novelsHouston, We Have a Problema and Lone Star Legend.
