The 2014-15 Inprint Margarett Root Brown Reading Series presents fiction writers Deborah Eisenberg and Antonya Nelson. Eisenberg is, according to a New York Times book review, "one of the most important fiction writers now at work." She is the author of four short story collections, including Under the 82nd Airborne, All Around Atlantis and Twilight of the Superheroes, which in 2010 were reprinted as The Collected Stories of Deborah Eisenberg and won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction.

Eisenberg is a recipient of a MacArthur Foundation Genius fellowship and the Rea Award for the Short Story, and has been elected to the Academy of Arts and Letters. Nelson, also a recipient of the Rea Award for the Short Story and holder of the Cullen Chair in Creative Writing at the University of Houston with her husband Robert Boswell, is the author of four novels, including Talking in Bed and Bound, and seven story collections, including Nothing Right, Female Trouble and Some Fun.

The reading will be followed by an onstage interview, book sale and signing.
