A former Houstonian and Inprint C. Glenn Cambor Fellowship recipient, Jericho Brown grew up in Louisiana and earned a PhD from the University of Houston Creative Writing Program. His most recent collection, The Tradition, won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, was a finalist for the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award, and was named among The New York Times Book Review’s “100 Notable Books of the Year.”

Brown will read a selection of poems, followed by a conversation with a poet.
