The concept that “l’enfer, c’est les autres,”(hell is other people), comes from Jean Paul Sartre's play No Exit. The University of St. Thomas Drama Department presents a production that correlates with the guilty pleasures that comes from viewing reality television shows like Jersey Shore and celebrity gossip. The existential play is a depiction of the afterlife in which three deceased characters are punished by being locked into a room together for eternity.
