Breaking Barriers is a production that captures the American diversity, two communities of color join together to break barriers, Riyaaz Qawwali and the Jones Family Singers. The concert will explore multiple genres, presenting songs from the Hindu bhajan, Sufi Qawwali and Christian Gospel musical traditions. A poetry reading will be done by Poet Laureate Aris Kian. The performance will be followed by Q&A and discussion.
