The ballet Shri Ram is based on the Indian epic Ramayan or Rama's Journey. Over the past 56 years, this ballet has been performed by Shriram Bhartiya Kalakendra, Delhi, around the world more than 3,000 times. The music, lighting, dance and colors transport the audience to ancient India for a tale of gods and demons, kings and queens, war and retribution, love, duty and honor.
