The Indian ragas, specific to the time of day, reflect the human mood and psyche typical of that particular time. These ragas are equally relevant in classical, folk and film music. The concert is a narrated assortment of bandish, tarana, thumri, ghazal, natyageet, bhajan and film music, with the underlying theme of the array of ragas in the 24- hour cycle, from Bhairav to Bhairavi.
