Incendium Gallery was founded to provide a platform for the fire-born arts — art jewelry, metal work and enameling. Local Flare will showcase some of the best and most varied work being produced in Houston. The collection includes works by Melanie Hoo, Nathan Dube, Ruth Brenton, Edward Lane McCartney, Sandra Zilker, Jan Arthur Harrell, Mariana Sammartino, Patty Scott, Silvia Otala, Marcela McLean and Gwendolyn McLarty.
An opening reception is scheduled for Sept. 12, 6-8 p.m. The work will be on view on Sept. 13, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The collection can be enjoyed online through Nov. 30.
