As if Houston's art cars weren't eye-catching enough.
Gloworama is an illuminated Art Car Parade and Party. The event includes a VIP dinner and balcony cocktail party overlooking the parade, followed by a fireworks show signaling the beginning of Afterglow, the post-parade shindig. The Rich Latimer Band will provide musical entertainment, and LD Systems will be projecting 3D mappings onto the face of the George R. Brown before and during the parade - a new technology never before seen in Houston.
Illuminated costumes are encouraged.
