Ken Webster loves Hyde Park Theatre, the iconic Austin treasure that turns 43 this year (the theater, not Ken). Webster, a member of the Austin Arts Hall of Fame, will perform his monologue piece, a history of the beloved space, which was first produced at HPT in 2022, when audiences were still wearing masks. There will be tales of Webster’s 46 years in local theatre, 42 years producing at Hyde Park Theatre, and 25 years of running the joint. There will also bee video clips from old shows, photos and posters from past shows, one of Webster’s famous question-and-answer sessions with the audience, and more.
