Hungry's annual "Heart of Gold" initiative kicks off during the entire month of November at both locations in Rice Village and Memorial to benefit a local nonprofit. This year, with the recent catastrophic disaster the city faced, Hungry's will donate proceeds from sales of the dinner menu to Mayor Sylvester Turner and County Judge Ed Emmett's Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.
For each $25 Heart of Gold prix fixe three-course dinner menu sold, $4 will be donated to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. The Heart of Gold menu is available only during dinner hours, from 5-10 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 5-11 pm on Friday and Saturday.
