The Houston French Alliance is hosting a book signing and reception for Luis Montalván and his dog Tuesday to celebrate his new book, Until Tuesday. Luis Montalván served as a decorated captain in the United States Army during two tours of duty in Iraq. After returning home from combat, the pressures of his physical wounds, traumatic brain injury and crippling Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder began to take their toll. Then he met Tuesday, a sensitive Golden Retriever trained to assist the disabled.

Until Tuesday is the story of how two wounded warriors who had given much — and suffered the consequences — found salvation in each other and ultimately healed each other's wounds.
