The Houston Wind Symphony and the Kempner High School Band team up to showcase local young musicians. The program includes Chorale and Shaker Dance by John Zdechlik, Circus Bee March by Henry Fillmore and Suite no. 2 in F by Gustav Holst.
The band will learn and perform a piece at sight on stage before performing Give Us this Day by David Maslanka side-by-side with the Kempner High School Band.
