This year, Steven Reineke is taking the reins of Houston Symphony's Very Merry Pops celebration to dazzle you with holiday merriment. The program includes classics like “Carol of the Bells” and a fresh interpretation of “Jingle Bell Rock.” In typical Very Merry Pops tradition, expect a “Winter Wonderland,” which includes sweeping sounds of the Houston Symphony Chorus, beautiful new arrangements by the maestro, and, of course, Santa.

The symphony is also adding star power to the concert with the debuts of Broadway and screen stars Santino and Jessica Fontana. Santino is best known for voicing Prince Hans in Disney’s animated feature Frozen and Fontana is known for her role as Cinderella on Broadway. The newlyweds will join the orchestra and Houston Symphony Chorus to sing holiday classics, including “Let It Snow!” “Silver Bells” and “O Holy Night” during the program.
