Houston Symphony talk: "Decoding Wozzeck" with Anthony Brandt

In advance of the March presentations of Alban Berg's masterwork Wozzeck, the Houston Symphony will be hosting opportunities for audience and patrons to learn more about this monumental piece.

Associate professor of composition and music at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music Anthony K. Brandt discusses the musical language of Wozzeck and how the composer captures the story. Also, he will speak more about what to listen for and how to listen to this masterwork.
