Houston Symphony presents "Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe"

Opening weekend for the Houston Symphony will be “très magnifique” as Music Director Juraj Valčuha leads dazzling French masterworks. Opening the concert is Messiaen's Les offrandes oubliées.Spotlighting the Houston Symphony Chorus, Poulenc’s Gloria surges with playful spirit and celebratory fanfare. From a shimmering “musical sunrise” audiences will witness a rapturous ending, Ravel’s Daphnis and Chloe. The concert will feature soprano Erin Morley.
