Rachmaninoff’s rapturous and romantic Symphony No. 2 unfurls a never-ending cascade of characteristically lush, opulent melodies, each one bound to speak directly to the heart. Principal Harp Megan Conley performs the spellbinding Trans for Harp and Orchestra by acclaimed Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho. Rising young French conductor Lionel Bringuier leads the Symphony in these performances.
