eventdetail
Houston Symphony

From child prodigy to breathtaking virtuoso, violinist Joshua Bell has performed worldwide with every major orchestra. He plays Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto on the famed antique violin, Gibson Stradivarius.

The instrument was stolen twice from Polish violinist Bronislaw Huberman. It went missing for 51 years and resurfaced after the thief’s death. 300 years later, it rests in the hands of Bell.
