In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Houston Symphony welcomes Brazilian-born conductor Marcelo Lehninger and young Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Martinez for a program packed with music from Latin masters. The program includes works by Falla, Piazzolla and Ginastera in addition to the familiar melodies of Bernstein's West Side Story and the Caribbean flavors of Gershwin's Cuban Overture.
