America's foremost composer — John Adams — will take you on a musical adventure through shadowy urban streets and blazing hot nightclubs in his own City Noir. Violinist Gil Shaham will then join for a performance of Korngold's Violin Concerto, which features musical quotations from the composer's own Hollywood film scores of the 1930s.
