Water Music is a collection of three suites composed by Frederic Handel for King George I. Legend has it that the king loved it so much, he ordered the musicians to play the entire suite three times. We no longer live in a monarchy (Thank you American Revolution), but the beauty of this piece can still be heard at Jones Hall with the Houston Symphony in three separate performances.
