It was in 1986 when thousands of single Houstonians converged upon a local grocery for the first "Meet Market." Amid games, entertainment and fresh produce, Houstonians found love. The Houston Social Source and Whole Foods Market Montrose together with MIX 96.5 update the event into the present.

Entertainment includes live music from '80s cover band The Lost Boys, dancing and games such as pass the orange and grapefruit bowling. As the night progresses, matchmakers will be on hand to offer advice. Activities include the aisles of love game, a scavenger hunt and a dating game hosted by a MIX 96.5 DJ. The night will end with Whole Foods Market Montrose showing the classic film Sixteen Candles in the parking lot. 

The event is open to everyone looking for love, including men seeking women, women seeking men, men seeking men and women seeking women.
