The pre-professional ballet company in Northwest Houston presents its spring performance, titled "Kaleidoscope," a colorful mixed repertoire program that includes Paper Suite, Les Sylphides, Stained-Glass Windows and Flower Festival.

What do you do with colorful paper ribbon, white cardboard and rice paper? Artistic director Victoria Vittum has created paper lanterns, paper umbrellas, paper dolls and decorative paper boxes in her whimsical and fun new ballet, Paper Suite. Guests will enjoy the simple beauty of the non-narrative ballet blanc Les Sylphides and the visual opulence of Stained-Glass Windows, inspired by the lightness and freedom felt when looking through the stained-glass windows of the Italian cathedral Il Duomo.

Flower Festival, a joyful celebration heralding the arrival of spring, is a recreation of August Bournonville's full-length ballet Napoli.
