In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Houston Public Library and Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow will host a “Story to Screen” (#story2screen) outdoor movie night. The movie feature, A League of Their Own, is about the all-American girls of baseball in the 1992 movie hit by director Penny Marshall.
Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the live music by one of Houston’s longtime favorite all-girl bands, Mydolls. There will also be a sing-a-long to some Madonna classics before the movie and some food and beverages from local well-known food trucks.
