Houston Public Library presents The Astrodome: Eighth Wonder of the World

The Houston Public Library’s (HPL) Astrodome Memories Project is hosting a screening of The Astrodome:  Eighth Wonder of the World. The hour-long documentary tells the story of the Astrodome’s beginnings and its place in the cultural history of Houston through contemporary interviews, vintage footage, and archival sources.

The event will include an informal discussion following the screening with the filmmaker, Chip Rives, facilitated by Mike Vance of Houston Arts and Media.
