Starting in 1964 with 7 Up, this film series has explored the Jesuit maxim "Give me the child until he is 7 and I will give you the man." The documentaries interview the same 14 children, who come from diverse backgrounds all over England, asking them about their lives and their dreams for the future. Every 7 years, renowned director Michael Apted (Coal Miner's Daughter; The World Is Not Enough) returns to examine the progression of their lives.
