The Houston New Arts Movement (HNAM) performs bold works by Beethoven to launch its Transformation Trilogy series, which explores themes of metamorphosis in the human soul as expressed in music and art, continuing the ensemble's focus on the connection between varying artistic mediums.

Adam Vincent Clay, founder and pianist; Cony Ruiz, cellist; and Laura Cividino, violinist begin the concert with Les Adieux, a farewell sonata, and finish with the Ghost Trio. Clay, Ruiz and Cividino will be performing together for the first time. HNAM artists, including Justin Clay and Heather Krumnow, will exhibit works related to Beethoven and the theme of transformation.
