Houston Museum of Natural Science will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing with their Moon Festival and Nighttime Stargazing event. A NASA Ambassador will help guests imagine what it might be like to live on the moon. They will also listen to an expert docent talk about NASA’s past (and future) and try stellar crafts and snacks or read a space-related book to their PAWS therapy dog team.
If the weather permits, there will be stargazing from 8-11 pm with volunteer astronomers from the HMNS George Observatory.
