If you miss Houston Museum of Natural Science's monthly "Mixers and Elixirs" bash, this isn't it. Rather, it's a new and improved shindig during which local food truck cuisine, cocktails and a brainy, science showcase fuse for one heck of a party-with-a-purpose.
The inaugural fete, "Skin & Bones," is a paleontology-inspired gathering that includes an after-hours look at the museum's new Hall of Paleontology. Guests will enjoy live music from Collide, nibbles from It's A Wrap, Pi Pizza, SweetRide and Luchy & Joey's, a cash bar and giveaways for the first 200 people.
