Houston Morehouse Alumni Association's annual Father’s Day Scholarship Brunch is their signature event. The association's overall purpose is to increase equity and access to higher education for African-American men.

Proceeds from the event will be used to provide scholarships for current and future students of Morehouse College, where annual tuition is more than $40,000 per student. The scholarships provided through the brunch will be awarded to qualified Houston area high school seniors and current Morehouse college students, to assist them with financial support to attend and thrive while at Morehouse College and beyond.
