Chaired by Claudia and Roberto Contreras with co-chairs Lisa and Josh Oren and honorary chairs Janet and Ernest H. Cockrell, Rendezvous: Live Young will be a night to remember with music by DJ CryKit and electrifying entertainment.

Rendezvous, Houston Methodist’s biennial fundraising gala, will recognize three honorees whose exemplary leadership has helped Houston Methodist achieve its prominence in medicine. The evening will honor Freeport LNG, the Jerold B. Katz Foundation and Paula and Joseph C. “Rusty” Walter III for their leadership of and generosity to Houston Methodist.

Named in 2016 as one of only 20 hospitals on U.S. News & World Report’s prestigious Honor Roll, and the No. 1 hospital in Texas and the Gulf Coast, Houston Methodist is known for leading medicine in patient care, research and education. Rendezvous will benefit programs throughout the hospital system, and publicly recognize those community leaders who have left an indelible mark upon Houston Methodist.
